Life can be stressful. You might find yourself second-guessing your decisions, questioning what you should be doing with your career, or wondering if there’s a better path. That's where coaching comes in.

I help people clarify what’s most important to them and create clear goals for their career or business. Then we create a strategy and timeline so you can move forward quickly knowing your values and actions are in alignment.

I believe coaching is most effective when it’s highly customized to fit your needs. For that reason I don’t have a set curriculum, but require a minimum three-month coaching commitment to make real progress. During that time we will:

  • Clarify your values and goals.

  • Identify immediate and achievable action steps.

  • Make significant progress toward your goals, ideally achieving them.

  • Address negative perspectives or patterns that no longer serve you or the pursuit of your goals

How It Works

1. Schedule a free consultation call. I need to know more about you and your goals, and it’s important that you get to know me too. We discuss timeline, fees, and expectations. If we decide to move forward, we schedule your first session and l send you a coaching intake form.

2. Begin Coaching. In our first 60 minute coaching call, we'll discuss your current pain points and create a strategy for the next three months. You'll receive 3-5 action steps to complete over the next week, along with a game plan to accomplish them.

3. Get Results. Over the next three months we’ll meet once a week. We’ll review your progress, address challenges, and determine next action steps until you achieve your goal(s).

In order to make the most out of our time together, you must be willing to put in the work and show up prepared and on time for our meetings.

WHAT does a COACH do?

As a coach, I empower you to set goals and establish accountability for personal and professional success. I guide you as you articulate your aspirations, clarify the choices before you and create action plans to achieve your goals. You set the agenda, and I serve as an objective sounding board to help keep you focused and on track. I help you break through old barriers and develop new practices so you can reach your desired goals.

HOW’S COACHING DIFFERENT FROM THERAPY?

Although coaching and therapy can complement each other, coaching is not therapy. Through coaching you develop strategic actions to help you move forward. Coaching does not attempt to explain behaviors, delve into your past, or identify pathology.

WHAT HAPPENS IN COACHING?

Before you can go anywhere, you have to know where you are starting. I will send you forms to help you clarify and help me understand what you want and need out of coaching.

Following this, we will start our regular sessions (usually once a week for an hour for about three months). I’ll ask you questions and lead you through exercises related to your goals. By the end of each session, we will develop assignments to give you a clear sense of what to focus on in preparation for our next session. I'm also available for email check-ins in between sessions. If you truly commit to the process, you will find that the real benefits of coaching show up between the sessions.

WHAT’S YOUR COACHING STYLE?

It’s my mission to create a safe and respectful environment in which my clients feel both supported and challenged as they work towards their goals. My style has been described as warm, direct, and fun. I push my clients out of their comfort zones but not beyond their limits. I'm there to celebrate their successes and to support them when they stumble. I also love to laugh and believe that humor is necessary on the road to success.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM COACHING? 

Although coaching is different for everyone, many clients report common outcomes, such as the ability to set and accomplish their goals. In addition, my clients report feeling happier, healthier, better communicators, improved relationships, and greater ability to effectively manage stress. 

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF PHONE COACHING?

Coaching over the phone allows you to open up more fully and provides you with flexibility in your environment.  It also allows you to work with me regardless of the city or state in which you live.

WHAT ABOUT CONFIDENTIALITY?

Everything we talk about is 100% confidential and unless you tell someone that we are working together (or give me your express permission to do so) no one will know that we have spoken.

HOW LONG DOES COACHING TAKE?

Three months with sessions once a week seems to be the sweet spot to make real progress and achieve big goals. After that, many clients choose to meet once a month to maintain momentum and optimal wellbeing.
